Hello fellow geeks,
Curious what people here would vote for as the best choice value wise for espresso. So far I've had the best luck with Redbird Brazil Daterra when I buy the 5lb bags, break it 3 ways and freeze it. I always get good shots, even 10 days post arrival. I like counter culture toscano too, but 12 ounce bags are $13 at my local grocery store and I rip through a bag in a few days, so it gets expensive. I like intelligensia a lot too, but its even less cost effective, almost $20 a pound! Any other roasters offer a great product at a decent price for small bulk orders (2 to 5 lbs) that I should investigate ?

Paradise roasters has some good offers on their coffees, for example you can get a five pound bag or if you prefer 6 12 oz bags of Espresso Nuevo for 47.95, and it's only 3 dollars shipping. Klatch also offers 2 lb and 5 lb bags of their coffee, and if you order through roaste.com you can get free shipping on orders over 39 dollars. I also like Velton's which is on roaste and they offer 5 lb bags as well at a discount free shipping also applies here too.

And while I have not had it a lot of people like Metropolis coffee specifically Redline Espresso, which offers 5 lbs bags (60 dollars) and free shipping on orders above fifty dollars.

Less water, more grounds.

Klatck Roasting also has some good pricing. You can get 2lb bags for $18 and 5lb bags for $51 for their Belle Espresso.

Have you looked at Deep Cello they have pretty good prices and the shipping was cheap. The last order I made which was a month ago and it was 3.95 to go from Ore to NC and it only took three days.

I'm going to second redline espresso. Another goood choice would be Redbird espresso 5 lbs bag for $51.90.

It's really a tough job to choose the best choice value wise for espresso. But in my views, the internet is an excellent place to get a good idea. Well..Intrepid510 has a good point. I like his post.
