Depends where you are...one of my favorites (and it's been a while) is epoca on st-laurent, make good caffe&latte ( i know it's not espresso)... if you are in the downtown/ NDG area, check out pasta casareccia, 5849 sherbrooke o....I hope i can mention this here, it's our family business. We use only Illy coffee in our resto/trattoria. I love espresso to death! i always take care of our machine. come by and ask for Fabs... OH YA, you can have a nice espresso in the resto side or to-go AND we also sell different espresso coffee's on our deli counter side. take care. Fabio

My office is at the corner of St-Laurent and Chabanel. I'm also looking for coffee (espresso) blends to buy, a pound at a time or less to try and find what are my preferences...so open to any suggestions on that too. Will try some coffee shop other than the one infront of where I work (Gentile Bar)... dzitt

Try "Cafe in Gamba" on Avenue Du Parc up from St-Viateur. One of my favorite and very good place to know if you wanna buy or try a few of the micro roaster from the states and the west coast. There are always bags on their shelves that are only a few days from the roasting date. Intelligientsa Black Cat, redline, paradise roaster, 49th parallel and a lot more! You won't be disapointed!
