Currently pulling shots with Ecco Caffé's single origin Bolivian Illimani, and enjoying the butterscotch and citrus finish.
Top 5 - my favorites, in no particular order
Red Bird Espresso Ecco Caffé Ecco Espresso Intelligentsia Black Cat Espresso George Howell's Northern Italian Daterra Counter Culture Ethiopian Buna Ababa
I love Counter Culture's Apollo blend. Currently am drinking a La Fincas Mercedes from PT's -- also am a huge fan of their Southpaw. Compass Coffee put out a phenomenal Sidama last year -- it was like blueberry pie.
Black Tie is one of my favourites defanitely as well as Carraro. Reading all the other favourites on here is making me want to diversify my coffee tastes!
That is part of the reason I wanted to hear what people had in their hopper. It is like what song is on your MP3, it might be a song I have not heard and would enjoy or at least expose me to new music.

I found a local coffee roaster in the next little town over. I just got some beans roasted monday. I will try them out later tonight, I know it is still a bit early yet. I can't wait to try them and would love for them to work out. His prices are reasonable for a full pound and no shipping.

Great they are dark and oily. How bad will they mess up my grinder if I taste them and give him feed back as I promised I would? I would not have bought them if I could see them...

Hey Coffeenoobie I've got a roaster that's only 25 miles from me but they only sell to whole sellers and the coffee shop that gets them is right in town but when I asked how old the beans were I was told they get them every two weeks. So CCC is only 100 miles up the road from me so it's cheaper to have them shipped, and whats great about this and other sites you get to see whats out there so you can decide what you'd like to try from what other people have tried. So my picks so far are and not in any order but at this time I'm working on a pound of Blue Jaguar from Red Bird.....
I absolutely love Transcend's Santa Lucia Organic Espresso. It was the 2011 winning coffee at the Canadian Barista championships and I can see why. It makes a very bright flavorful ristretto that has the consistency of treacle. I couldn't believe this was a single origin coffee.
A few other great espressos I have tried:
-Dattera Sweet blue -Buf Cafe Red Bourbon -Punch Buggy
