This morning I pulled the two most flavorful shots I've ever tasted through my Oscar. The coffee is something I picked up Monday from Middle Fork Roasters in Seattle - It is called their "Double Crack Holiday Blend" (IIRC).
Highly recommended! Should be available through the retail outlets that normally carry Middle Fork (Whole Foods in Bellevue, WA for example) and at their booth in the Pike Place Market (if they're still doing that).
You can probably order it online, though I did not see it posted on their website.
Truly memorable, truly fantastic. I've asked Matt whether any of their normal blends are comparable.
I did a follow-up contact with Middle Fork about where to buy this blend because I want to buy several packages as gifts for the holidays. Turns out that Whole Foods in Bellevue will not carry it, but apparently some Puget Sound Thriftway stores will carry it. Interesting, as I didn't know that Thriftway carried Middle Fork. I'll have to track down the nearest Thriftway.
Also, Middle Fork informed me that "Double Crack" can be purchased through the website, though it is not listed.
BTW, thought I'd mention that I've had good luck using this coffee as a base for a half-caff blend, using Middle Fork's "unleaded blend".
