Edit: this deal has expired.
If you're a fan of Italian roasters (and don't mind relatively stale beans), Amazon has a pretty good deal now:
A kilo (2.2 lb) of Super Crema beans vac-packed for $19.92 (9.06/lb) or $16.93 shipped (7.70/lb) if you use subscribe-and-save.
2 lbs (4 1/2 lb cans) of Caffe Espresso ground coffee for $15.36 (7.68/lb) or $13.06 shipped (6.53/lb) if you use subscribe-and-save.

By comparison, WLL gets $10-20/lb for the Caffe Espresso and around $20 for a bag of Super Crema.

Through Dec 31st, use coupon code LAVA27I2 at checkout for another 15% off -- That brings Super Crema to $13.94 (6.34/lb) shipped for subscribe-and-save, and Caffe Espresso to $10.75 ($5.38/lb) for subscribe-and-save.

There are some other discounted Lavazza coffees too, including Qualita Oro espresso ground, Decaf Espresso ground, and ĄTierra! ground coffee. Click here to see them all.

Relatively stale beans at any price does not sound like a good deal.
I'm pretty frugal, but I'll save my pennies and spring for the fresh stuff.
There's better ways to save a dime on beans, earn points at ROASTe, buy
more, save some $ on shipping and freeze, or buy the monthly specials
from Terroir, to name a few. Or go to extremes and buy only used clothes,
give the dog the generic food, or heaven forbid, buy groceries at Walmart.
Life is short, enjoy better espresso. Buy better beans, support great
roasters and their relationships with the coffee farmers.

Oh alas, I must admit I do like a Lavazza now and then. Dare I say I am a closet "Lav" drinker, I do like my Red Line, Black Cat, etc. but a Lavazza SC now and then can't hurt. Can it? Should I seek help? Oh well. Anyone else out there? I can feel a support group coming on.

OK - last day to use this coupon. Today ĄTierra! is $11.04, $9.77 with subscribe-and-save or the coupon, and $8.04 after both. That's $5.36 per lb. Click here to go to the ĄTierra! page.

There are other Lavazza coffees available, but not with as good of a discount. click here to see them.

Good luck!
Dana.
