I'm opening a coffee shop and have been looking for equipment.  I have come across a Nuova Simonelli Premier Maxi espresso machine.  Does anyone know anything about them?
also I'm looking for a grinder? Any suggestions on a good one?

Your very FIRST consideration must be the source for service and support near you.

If a critical  machine goes down, can you afford to close up shop?

service and support FIRST -- machine second.

Premier Maxi's are fine.  If it is used then you are at the mercy of the previous owners cleaning and maintenance habits etc.

The Premier Maxi is an older model that is still being sold because of it's attractive price point. They make good coffee, are very reliable and anyone can fix them. Parts are readily available from many sources including N. Simonelli. It has a relatively small footprint and 2 steam wands*. The steam levers are the tried and true paddle style, up to finess and down to lock open. The downside is a somewhat fragile outer cabinet, too much plastic and clips that fail easily. All in all a good value for the money. Just my opinion. Kevin

The online manual states 1 steam wand but I'm sure they were changed.
