Hey Ziggy, I'm not familiar w/ Caffe Fresco's beans, but Ristretto Roasters www.ristrettoroasters.com medium roasts all of their beans. I tried their Mexican Chiapas this week and it was the best esrpesso I've ever made; their Beaumont Espresso Blend is pretty solid too. Lighter roasts is a bit of their mantra, so you might want to give them a try to see if it's more to your liking.

All of Barefoot Coffee Roasters roasts are light and very very good. Ecco Caffe is slightly darker, but not by much, and also very good. Klatch Coffee was darker than the previous two, but they have some of the best espresso.

Daterra North Italian Roast Espresso (Brazil) from Terroir Coffee is a flavorful and pleasant light roast, if you don't mind a touch of acidity. I like to add a few drops of creamer (unflavored) to my ristretto from these beans, this seems to bring forward an almond aroma I remember from some ristrettos I had in Italy.
