Is there anyone in Cape Town who would like to Jam??? We would love to make contact and have a great time together. I know that they are doing this in Joberg but there is nothing in Cape Town so far. How about it? Anyone interested?

Hi AudzG,
I'm in Pretoria (next to J'oburg) and a member of the Barista Undergroud (http://baristaunderground.com) and yes we have regular jams (every month or so).
You should get in touch with the guys at Origin Coffee Roasters & Coffee shop (http://www.originroasting.co.za/)- Cuth (barista & instructor) is also part of the Barista Underground and they have held a jam or 2 in the past.
If all else fails you will have to come to Gauteng for a Jam. Lots of coffee geeks who love having a great time!

AudzG,
Sorry to hear you didn't come right with the guys from Origin.
Pls remember that Barista Underground is not just for us up country folk- the aim is for it to be country wide and thanks to some welcome media exposure of late our membership has grown very nicely. I suggest you join & use the site to meet up with some other folks in your area for a jam of your own!
