Hello there,

I'm new to this whole forum thing but thought it might be fun!  And I'm searching desperately for a coffee bean my sister discovered (pretty plain bag - of course).   Anyway I brewed some up in a press and I have to say it is definitely the most complex, balanced and TASTY (I know that's probably not an official term) coffee I've ever had.  And I try all kinds of coffee everywhere I go.  It was so smooth that even my friend Pete who usually doses (contaminates?) his cups with creamer said it was the first cup he ever liked without any cream.

So anyway, I heard this coffee is 'beyond fair trade' whatever that means, and is imported via San Francisco from a small volcanic island chain in the South Pacific.  Has anyone heard of this coffee?  I would really appreciate any response.  Especially interested in the name of the roaster and where I can order a few bags.  Thanks in advance for any help!

This coffee is grown in the island of Tanna in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu. The soil here is fertile due to the tropical soil where the Yasur Volcani is found. This area is excellent for the production of a pure organic Arabica Coffee. The coffee here has wonderful aroma with pleasantly nutty flavor that has no bitter after taste.

If you have time to visit, you will drink the best coffee in Vanuatu at their little espresso bar. You can order from Tanna Coffee Roasting Factory or you can order this coffee online.

Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine.
