For my regular pour over routine at home I stick pretty close to the standard 60g/1L ratio for brewing. I deviate from the ratio some depending on coffee bean, but not much.
When I ordered a tall Aged Sumatran on the Clover from $$$ this morning, they used a ratio of 40g of beans for 12oz of coffee. The result was alright, but not spectacular (which is usual). Any idea what the reasoning would be for such a high ratio? It would be nearly 120g/1L according to what I had this morning.
