I've always thought when people say strong when describing preground stuff, or chain places etc... that their talking about the nasty bitter over extracted taste and they associate that with strong like their injecting caffeine in their veins lol

This is fascinating stuff. (Maybe more so than usual because I just had my wisdom teeth yanked and can't drink any hot coffee for a week. Help!)

Did you try the Aeropress yet? I'd be curious to see how that plays out. :)

How did the one and a half minute Aeropress steep turn out? (I was actually reminded of your Folgers experiments on the way home today as I passed a Walgreens. The sign proudly displayed "Folgers $2.99".)

If you don't mind me asking, what are the brew parameters you speak of: R, Y, G, Wb, Cb, Cp, and Gt? My apologies if this has been discussed before, but this is the first I have ever seen this terminology.
