What are your opinions on that Zero Water 5-stage pitcher? I bought one for my wife who doesn't like the taste of our local tap water. The little measuring device they include must be for real as the Britta pitcher, tap water and bottled water all give different results.

Can anyone comment on the ideal hardness levels for drip coffee VS espresso based drinks..? I've been told that they are not the same, in fact the desired hardness for drip and manual is 5-7grains per gallon, with the best case being 2-3grains per gallon for the espresso machine. Thoughts?
