Hallo, first-time poster, long time reader.
Obviously reheating coffee is not something you usually want to do, especially served coffee, but if you have a thermal airpot and its been a little over two hours and you don't want to waste coffee, would warming it straight from the airpot be less disastrous than reheating a sitting cup or keeping a glass pot on a warmer? Are there better methods of reheating? It occurred to me that I can probably touch up coffee from a slightly old airpot pretty quickly using a steam wand, but do you think the steam would be too harsh on the coffee?

Hard to add much to the above other than if I brew more than one cup at a time (neverhappens when when I am the only. One drinking) I brew into a pre heated airpot. This will keep it hot longer than the coffee will stay at its best. If I have to reheat it is in a microwave.

Personally, I never brew too much coffee mainly because I mostly use a 3-cup size moka pot and always make fresh when more coffee is needed. When I have company I use a bigger moka pot and any left over goes down the sink or if anyone wants more coffee they have to wait while I make a fresh pot. Since a moka pot brews strong coffee if used correctly reheating would be a simple matter of adding hot water or hot milk if anyone doesn't mind a just warm brew. I should think that microwaving for a few seconds would do no more arm than keeping it hot on a hotplate.

Reheating coffee has nothing to worry unless you add something during the reheating. If you are using metallic pot, it could burn metallic sediments and itís dangerous. Thereís nothing wrong I think in reheating but most researcher suggested that coffee should be consumed within 20 minutes after brewing for optimum effect.
Let us be aware that heat is the enemy of taste in coffee. But if the brewed coffee is stored in a sealed glass container, it can be reheated without being bitter when it is brewed with a Chemex. Exposure to air causes loss of taste.
