i tried freezing my beans 2 weeks ago. just as a test. and since i did it in small batches, it comes out pretty good. so i guess, doing it in small batches than a bunch adds to the trick.

Without trying the "a bunch" method you can't really say that. Some people use a quart jar and keep it in the freezer as they use it and say it works fine.

I'm going to have to try this.
