Subject: Seeking help with my Dad's Coffee pot collection

Hello Coffee Geeks,

I am posting on this forum in the hopes that some kind soul may be willing to help me decipher my deceased father's collection of (antique?) coffee pots.  They are quite beautiful and were cherished by my dad and thus I don't want to simply donate them to the Goodwill (and let's be honest, I suspect they may be of some value).  However since I am clueless (and I mean CLUELESS) about these 40-some pots/grinders/espresso machines I turn to the forum I knew he was, at times, an active member of for your help! I will post a picture of one pot for now, I'd say about half of them are this type (some metal, some glass), and if anyone would be interested in discussing the rest of the collection it would be most sincerly appreciated!

Thanks for reading!
Merry

From what I can see it looks like a collection of stainless steel vacuum coffee makers.  You should take a picture of the bottom of each one and post it here so that we can determine what make/model they are.  Also take a picture of the inside top chamber of each so that we can see what type of ground strainers they have (or are missing).

It's truly wonderful that you would rather reach out and learn more about his collection rather than just give away what's most likely some very unique equipment.  I'll be following this thread to see what great stuff he collected!  Thanks for sharing and I hope you get some good answers :-)
