After nearly 3 years of great service, our My Pressi Twist has pooped out and I'm thinking about sending it to My Pressi for refurbishing and upgrade. (I replaced all the O-rings, but that didn't revive it.) Only problem is that My Pressi only upgrades model V2 and I don't know what model mine is. I can't find a model number on the device, the user's guide or the bill of sale. I bought it in December, 2010 and suspect that it may be a V1. Can anyone out there help me on this one? Many thanks.

If #1 is not possible, can you describe what you mean by 'pooped out' and can you include what remedies you have tried in order to get it working again?

Many thanks for the suggestions. The problem is that the nitrous oxide from the ISI chargers doesn't go through the system when I push the trigger and no espresso comes out. The new chargers appear fine (they seem appropriately heavy) and when I remove one from the Twist after a failure, the charger makes the expected hissing sound. I will take your good advice and contact My Pressi. Again, many thanks.
I occasionally have this problem when I use cheap silver cartridges that I buy on ebay. To see if this is your unit or the cartridge (you can't visually inspect the tolerances), buy a box of Ultra-Purewhip catridges from creamright.com. I have never had a handle-discharge problem with them. But put a square of thick 3m double sticky tape on the butt of them (leave the outside paper on) to insure a good fit. The Ulta-Purewhip need this, since they are 1 mm shorter than the silver cartridges, but try it with your silvers (I assume that is what you are using) and see if it doesn't help the problem.
