It's a cheap home steam driven espresso machine. It's good for starting out and I've heard very good reviews! What do you think? It's my first espresso machine too. The question's I have are: Do I need a very fine grind for this machine? My grinder won't grind extremely fine :/ It looks like a pressurized portafilter. And do I still need to tamp the coffee on this machine?

I would need more specifications on the machine to answer your questions, but am not sure it is really espresso capable. Sorry if this is incorrect or not the answer you are wanting. I tried looking up the machine and did not find enough.

You might begin with a search here in CG of Stovetop Espresso. When you see reviews from stores or Amazon you are not likely going to find them comparable to those in coffee/espresso forums. Steam pressure is not very high vs a pump.

As long as you know what to expect from this machine, you might as well be satisfied with it. However, you must know that it won't really make espresso but moka instead. Being steam driven the brewing pressure will be to low and water temperature will be too high for espresso, which is why you won't have a consistent crema, for example. Also coffee tends to have a slightly burnt taste with moka pots, which is basically what this machine is. On the other hand, moka pots like the Bialetti Moka Express or Brikka are the traditional Italian way of preparing caffè for a morning latte.
Personally, I'd prefer a stovetop model, because they're virtually unbreakable.
