Just to offer a different voice here. I have used Kureg (however you spell it) and though it is far from the pointy end of coffee, it is an acceptable brew, it isn't spit it out in the sink bad. When we see our son in the navy, we stay at the base hotel, they have those brewers in each room. I used to take all my own equipment but anymore, I just use their brewer. It is OK, just not great. I would not buy one for my home but as it is there already, I just go ahead and use it.
