We just had this discussion about a month or two ago...must have been just before you joined. Try the search tool and you should be able to find the thread, so you can see what was said about the following and others.
There were several favorites, such as the Contigo and the Avantro.
I've been a very happy Avantro user for several years, but ordered two Contigos (one for travel and the other for my office) a week or so ago. Still waiting though...maybe I'll post a comparison "review" after they arrive?
take a look at the Avantro if you're concerned about the washing the mechanism on the Contigo. They too have a heat retention vs time chart on their website (if you can find - I always seem to have difficulty with that).
no, that's the mug...it sucks cause of the handle and the lid being very low from the drinking surface, and the way the lid opens and closes.
the tumbler is waaaaay better...here's a lousy picture (makes it look squat) of the stainless one... Click Here (www.kaboodle.com)
I looked at the sipp. they're pretty similar I think except the Avantro has a wider top end, so it fits nicely in every cup holder I've ever tried and the width gives you a "compression fit" in your hand (via gravity). the screw on base (docking station) is awesome. the lid has a much better mechanism for opening and closing, that won't break and when you pour to drink your mouth is actually there where the coffee is coming out, instead of a foot higher (exaggerating).
I'll edit if I find a better place that has all the other colors.
I'm not fond of metal coffee cups so I use a double walled glass tumbler made by takeya. I was concerned about breaking it but so far that has not been a problem.
