That's a real shame ;o(
You might try looking on a well know auction site. E***.de certainly has them if you can find a seller who will ship to where you live.
if you do manage to source a replacement, bear in mind that the shape of the carafe has differed over the years. Recent models have a straight vertical side to the glass. Older ones like mine have a curved side. Not sure if they are fully interchangeable.
The T8's (Moka Brews) have a series number, such as 262, 265, 468 etc. which determines the shape of the carafe.
Hope you find one. They make good coffee that's a bit different from almost anything else.

I asked because I checked out Krups Canada & they have an online parts store & have the carafe (I did check this out a year or 2 ago also) for $19.95 complete. They only ship within Canada. Standard shipping rates are as follows:
Product shipments across Canada are $9.99 each, while each additional part/accessory ordered within the same order is then $2.99 each OR
Parts/accessories are $5.99 for the first order and then $2.99 for each additional order
Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. You will always have the opportunity to see the full amount of your purchase with shipping charges before you confirm your order.
Out of stock items usually ship within 10 business days. Orders with items on back order are held until they can be shipped complete.
Orders can only be shipped within Canada.
I also checked out Krups USA & didn't see or find a parts store. I'd be willing to help you out if you'd like to get the carafe. I haven't checked out fully yet to see what shipping would cost to me, & then after receiving the carafe, I'd have to ship to you in the US & I'd have to see what shipping would cost then too.
If it means that much to you, & it soulds like it does., then it may be worthwhile to you.
P.S. Actually I've just found it on Krups USA, but it's out of stock & it costs $29.99. If you search there locally for a service center near your location, they may have it, but I'll look now. It's Small Appliance.com, & is the link above.

Thanks for your research Craig. I looked at Small Appliance and found it there but like you mentioned it's out of stock. It sounds like they intend to get it back in stock because they are encouraging people to order it anyways.
Now if it is possible to have you order it and find out how much shipping would cost, that would also work and might be preferable. If you are willing to do this, [I would be very grateful and would return the favor should you ever need something shipped from the US] I would certainly send you the money up front.
I will call Small appliance Friday and ask when it is expected in house.
The cost of Shipping would now be of interest to me. I will notify you as soon as I have talked to S.A. . Again! Thanks for the offered kindness.
I will also check locally as per your recommendation

I checked with Small Appliance and they said they would have it in stock by next Wednesday at the price of $29.99 with $7.99 for shipping making the total $37.98. Let me know what your thoughts are. With shipping and currency coversion if I would save enough to make it worthwhile??

No, I don't believe so Irvin.. Our currencies are pretty much at par. 1.00 USD = 0.991861 CAD Click Here (www.xe.com)
The shipping from Krups Canada in Toronto to me in Toronto would be the stated $9.99. I don't of course know the box size dimentions without having it in hand, so I can't input that info to get a Canada Post International shipping quote to the USA. I'm guessing it'd be more than the Candian price of $10., maybe $15.00.., so it wouldn't pay for you to use my services/me to help you out.
It would be worth it IMO if no US service centers had the carafe, couldn't/wouldn't order it (like a shipment from Germany!), & you wanted to continue to keep your Krups Moka Brew in continued service.
Oh well, it's the offer & thought that counts though. {;-) Cheers!

I believe your right about that shipping, and being that the currencies are on par, it probably would only be an option [as you said] if it was not available to me at all here. I appreciate the offer and will let you know how this turned out.
