Supposedly, the "formula" is patented and cannot be reverse engineered.
The patent referred to is easily found, it has to do with usage of caffeine with chromium-bound niacin and fructose for weight loss. They call it "buffered caffeine" and "thermogenic" for marketing, but "buffering" of caffeine is not one of the patent claims.
The "buffered caffeine" is also claimed to be an "edible computer chip" that "reprograms your metabolism." The "buffering" of the caffeine claims to eliminate jitters from caffeine overdose.
Did you read the warning label it? It said not to use in combination with viagra or it will experience major irreversible shrinkage . . .
"Coffee leads men to trifle away their time, scald their chops, and spend their money, all for a little base, black, thick, nasty, bitter, stinking nauseous puddle water." ~The Women's Petition Against Coffee, 1674
