So, here is the situation: I am currently working in Mexico and have come across an opportunity to collaborate on a coffee project. The coffee is organic and would end up helping out a lot of people in indegenous communities if I can get a few things figured out. So, I am hoping you guys can answer some questions with all the collective knowledge out there. My initial questions are: How do I go about importing coffee legally from Mexico to the US in an economic way AND how do I go about distributing the coffee to smaller or larger companies? Can I piggy-back larger shipments of coffee to the US? Hmm, these are big questions, but any leads would be very helpful and very appreciated. Muchas gracias for any and all advice!!! ~JP
you might get better answers from checking out www.greencoffeebuyingclub.com --its a page that people sell full bags of coffee to many people that want to buy a few pounds... or talk to a local coffee roaster.
