Subject: Ditting 804 and French Press?

Has anyone ever used one of the Ditting 804 grinders for a french press?  Just curious how it turned out.  They have such a reputation for grind consistency in the courser grinds.
Just to qualify; I read that some where on one of these forums.

Well, I decided to do some serious and time consuming search of the forums for an answer to my question.  Luckily I found an answer to my question.  It turns out they are about the best or near ultimate in grinding for a FP, but, Do you want to pay the price?  That's pretty subjective I suppose.

Anyway, Thanks A Lot.

Here's a used one that sold at a local online auction here last night for $639 plus 10%.

That's not a bad price if it isn't worn out.  I wish it had been on ebay.

Hi Nathan,

I don't know how to do the links, but if you go to the search box and type in Ditting  there's pages of them.
