Hey guys i was just wondering if i am going to be using Spring water for my brewing purposes. Should i use room temperature spring water or refrigerated spring water? Does it make a difference what the temp is before brewing?

Spring water? You mean bottled?
Uhm.. I don't know if anyone else will agree with this, but I think it's better to use freshly filtered water from the tap. It's oxygenated and fresh-tasting compared to the bottled stuff.
As far as temp before brewing.. I don't think it matters too much. That depends on the brewing method. Drip machines should probably get room temperature, or hotter water, since most drips don't get hot enough fast enough. If you're using a stovetop kettle or electric kettle, just use cold or cool water, since it doesn't matter.
Remember, water's gotta get up to between 190-210F degrees before it touches the coffee grounds for optimal flavor extraction.

Yes i mean bottled water. Well the thing is at our house here we have really hard water and i wasn't sure if that is necessarily good for the coffee maker or the coffee? But if you think filtered tap water would be better i can just go out and get a brita pitcher. I am using an automatic drip machine.

I'm new at this and wondering too. Local tap water is full of iron and chlorine. I'm using filtered water for brewing -- no iron, no chlorine. Also, no lime, no calcium, or much of anything else.
I get it out of a machine which filters the water on site and dispenses into a 5 gal. carboy. It's drinking water, and it tastes good.
Given the choice between foul tap water and filtered water, I'm opting for the filtered water.

Good coffee is not rocket science. It's WAY more complicated than that!
