Wow! That's pretty much exactly what I am looking for, awesome! Now sadly, I checked out the reviews on seattlecoffeegear for the product are very mediocre :-/ so I might not want to buy that after all. Still thanks for the recommendation, gives me hope :)
I still have mine, and liked it very much. But the Behmor Brazen is a much better machine. I own one as well and would never go back to the Capresso, or any machine that doesn't allow adjusting the brew temp. The Brazen is in a class by itself. No other consumer drip machine is even in the same ballpark. Don't let mediocre reviews put you off. Just understand that every machine requires an initial period of tweaking the grind, coffee/water ratio, and with the Brazen the pre-soak time and water temp, to get the best results. And the results are really exceptional.

I do what that thing does manually. I use a tea kettle to heat the water and an old time drip-o-lator to brew. Then I transfer the coffee to a modified mr coffee style machine (water resivour and filter cup removed leaving just the carafe and warming plate). the process and cleanup is a little more involved, but I like the coffee I'm drinking.
