Hi all,

I know this goes against the standard internet etiquette rule of signing up for a forum and then instantly asking for advice without offering anything in return, but I'm not sure how else to proceed!

We were in Bali last year and tried the Kopi Luwak, or cat poo coffee. I've finally got round to creating a video of the contraption used to brew the coffee, but I have no idea what the brewing 'machinery' is called! It looks as impressive as it is complicated! You can find photos and the video of it here in our cat poo coffee article. Anyone got any ideas? It would be much appreciated!

Crap-o-matic Syphon Brewer?

Name in full is a Naperian Balancing Coffee Syphon. The design is a couple of centuries old, see http://www.coffeeco.com.au/newsletter/june2006.html .
