Fellow technivorm owners, you may or may not have seen this video on youtube about some interesting adaptations to the regular brew techniques of the Technivorm Moccamaster KBT741:

I have been using his method, with one exclusion being the last tap down of the basket part.  I also have the Frieling 23 Carat Gold Filter instead of his use of paper cones so after the initial 30 second presoak/stir that he advises I put the basket on 1/2 open setting instead of the full setting shown in video.  I make a full pot and even with the good amount of bloom that occurs after the stirrings I have not had any cup runneth over issues.  I have been very satisfied with the results.
