You have found a good purification system but you donít want to spend much money for changing the carbon block filter. Itís your choice for your own good. If you donít trust bottled or distilled water to save money, then why should you complain about too much expense for changing filters? If you use that kind of purification system, then why should you look for other system?
Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine. www.coffeeloversmag.com/theMagazine
if you test the water now and again in 6 to 8 months, it is unlikely that a filter of that size will produce that much water. I also question some of their claims. I am particularly interested in how ion exchange beads can remove lead: "7 cubic inches of ion exchange resin which removes lead to below minimum E.P.A. standards." A standard 10" resin, ion exchange filter holds roughly 28 cubic inches of beads, and would not soften half that much water at my house. I suppose they base their "findings" on filtering water that is pretty good to begin with.
and so much for your "gravity water" system... :-/
