I want to get a commercial Bunn for my home because we make a lot of coffee, and I want something that's high quality. Are there any major advantages or disadvantages between the VP17-1 vs the VPR? Is one of them made better than the other?
I like the VP17-1 because it will fit under a counter easier, but it seems like the VPR is a lot more popular. Can the temperature be adjusted on the newer VP17 and VPR models?
This Bunn will be purchased new. The VP17-1 is about $30 more than the VPR.

I have not used the VP17 but I own a VPR APS (brews directly into an air pot) I think the standard VPR just brews into a standard pot. The guts are the same as far as I know and I am very happy with mine.
The TC is a good unit too.
I think it is hard to go "wrong" with a commercial Bunn whatever you do but YMMV!
