Bonavita specify the output water temperature to be 96c  

Technivorm specify between 92 and 96c

It does sound like both the Technivorms and the Bonavitas referenced in this thread are performing pretty much to manufacturer specification.

Well, what do you know, it's right there front and center on their website: BV 1800TH:

"1400 Watt heater raises water to ideal temperature (205F / 96C)."
