Subject: New Trifecta Blemished - Send it back?

So I just got my new Bunn Trifecta MB in from Sweet Maria's tonight and as I'm opening it up, I see that the clearcoat varnish on the top plastic has been badly misapplied, making the machine look like there's a spot that needs to be cleaned off when the light catches it. I know the Trifecta isn't exactly a high volume product and I can understand the QA being a little...off. Indeed, when I called Bunn about the Trifecta (before it arrived) they said the person who supported it was out of town and would have to get back to me!

So here's my dilemma: Should I live with it and start using it, or send it back to SM and ask for a replacement? I'm really bummed out about this, but want to make sure I'm getting my $600 worth and if most units have these little mistakes and scuffs, I could accept that. But if I got a cosmetic second, I'd rather have a replacement. Thoughts? Thanks!

Definitely send it back to SM for replacement or whatever correction they need to make. Or you call them regarding the situation. They are known for their products of good quality, so maybe they had a little problem that time.

Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine.

Talk with Amanda at Bunn. You will have a replacement soon, along with a prepaid return label for the original. There customer service is the best. Take care!
