I see coffee vending machines everywhere, but I have always wondered why they havent replaced coffee shops like Redbox did to Blockbuster. Is the quality of the coffee not that good, just curious.

Have you tried one?  Just curious.

Alternate answer A:

Are you also wondering why food vending machines haven't replaced restaurants?

Alternate answer B:

They don't deliver coffee in Blu Ray format.  Otherwise Starbucks would have disappeared by now.

Some supermarkets have superautos that will make a coffee/espresso/etc. for you.  Totally automatic, you just feed the machine money.

I have tried a coffee vending machine and I agree it wasnt that good. Im just surprised in our day and age no one has come up with a machine that can replicate that of a barista. I would pay money if a machine could make coffee like a barista.

For some people, they don't care about the taste or overall quality of the coffee. They just get coffee from vending machines to warm their stomachs or themselves, it's quick (some machines would give you a ready to go cup in less than 2 minutes) and because it's very, very affordable.

Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine.
