Kitchen aid has a long list of service centers, look it up on their website.
Saving for Rocky? UH, that depends.
First, what kind of coffee are you going to drink? Rocky is an ESPRESSO ONLY grinder, if you are going to make espresso, a Rocky will be much better than the Kitchen aid ever was. That said, there are many fine grinders now that cost less or the same as Rocky and they do better or are more adjustable than Rocky is.
If you are going to make dirp, french press etc, then you need a grinder that is designed for making that kind of coffee. There are darn few DO IT ALL grinders, the Vario is one that can do it but it comes at a price, several NEW Kitchen aid grinders together price.
What type of service are you looking to buy a grinder for?
In real life, my name is Wayne P.
Feed the newbs, starve the trolls and above all enjoy what you drink!
Is that the A30? IMO those things look great and perform terribly. You'll be much happier starting over with a Baratza of some ilk than throwing good money after bad.
