I would also like to know what the OP thinks about how it compares to his bonavita? I was looking at Bunn machines last night. How's the build quality?
How does the mycafe compare to other manual single cup methods. I've been doing single cup for several years (only drinker in the house), mainly filter cone and aeropress. Just wondering how the mycafe compares taste wise. I'm assuming for the short contact time you need a higher dose ratio.
Since I've had my Mycafe, I've noticed you don't get all the subtle nuances in the single servers as you would with let' s say pourovers, total immersions or drips. I think their niche is their convenience and versatility. When I want a quick cup of Joe, I go to my MyCafe.
