Helloooo,
My 1st post here. I just purchased a Nicro model 1512 vacuum pot. I haven't recieved it yet. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this pot will work with my induction counter top burner. Will a magnet stick to the bottom of the pot? I'm sure it will work on my gas stove. But I'm hopeful about using it on the induction burner. The pot looks to be in excellent condition with the original stainless filter. Pretty excited. Also, I ordered a new rubber gasket for it just in case. Thanks for any replies in advance.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not real clear on it. I have a stainless steel Presto pressure cooker that works great with my induction burner, but a magnet will adhere to it. The way I understand it some stainless stuff will work and others won't. They have a product called an interface disk for use with non induction cookware like aluminum, but it negates all the benefits of the induction burner like quick heat up, etc... So I guess I'll just wait and see if the pot is compatible. Pleasure to be here.
