Just wanted to weigh in and say thanks, since I got the method from reading here. Anyway, nothing revolutionary, but I use approximately 7.5g of coffee per cup (6oz) and I heat up water in my tea kettle on the stove to around 150-160* to use in the coffee machine. I noticed that my coffee was never really hot and decided to give this a try. I also 'preinfuse' for 30 sec to a minute by not putting the carafe in place right away. The coffee is head and shoulders better than any coffee this machine has ever made.
