This isn't a super interesting topic for most people, but I wanted to say that the #6 size Cilio filter cones have been redesigned with two larger drainage holes instead of one. I bought one of these recently, and saw some old posts here commenting on the too-slow drainage of the old one hole version. The new one brews perfectly. I made coffee for two for a week on vacation and was able to hit 4:00 on the dot for 71g of coffee to 40oz of water.

Just a little heads up for anyone looking to own a large porcelain filter cone. The Cilio is the only company I know of that makes porcelain ones in this size. :)

Cool, thanks for the info. I was just about to purchase one of these, and might have bought the one-hole version. Glad I saw your post!

Don't think you'll have a problem...they only sell the two-hole one on Amazon now.

Just wanted to confirm Evan's useful post -- the new Cilio's are indeed 2-hole drippers. My only mistake was not paying more attention to the size details -- I purchased a #6 dripper and this thing is really big! Looks like a novelty-sized coffee cup (although, for #6 filters it's exactly right, I guess). Anyway, I'll size down to a #4 to take advantage of this nice dripper.
