Just a quick caveat, sharing grind settings on Baratza grinders is a pointless exercise. They're calibrated to touch time, not grind output, out of necessity, and so don't necessarily match, especially from lot to lot. And, of course, there's a wide calibration range that the end user can recalibrate. I know my Preciso and Virtuoso are calibrated finer than most, after a lot of back and forth with Kyle, the co-owner/engineer at Baratza. (Currently, they're factory set to touch burrs on an empty grinder at 6, but mine are set around 10, to give a good range down in espresso land.

(Touch time is, quite literally, what setting the burrs audibly begin to touch on an empty grinder. With beans in, the grinds are forced apart, so they don't actually touch there when in real world use.)

Andy, most of us know the above, but for those who didn't, it's useful to see. As a long time Baratza owner (the grinders, NOT the company) I had 2 preciso's that were calibrated EXACTLY the same. Burr touch at the same marking.
Back on BraZen topic, the idea of being able to somewhat simulate a manual pour-over is getting my juices flowing. My 40 oz Chemex pours seem to take YEARS. I can handle 10-11 minutes with the BraZen, as i can be making an omelet whilst Gort is doing it's thing.
Excellent. Having a bit of knowledge from previous conversations with Joe, I KNOW how much red tape and paper work is involved getting all the approvals and such done. I'll be looking forward to user comments. Remember, as we like to say here, give it a wee bit of time to work the beastie out, as it sounds like there are options we're not used to.
P.S. Added here @ 4:02pm: My Tweet to Joe 43m ago CoffeegeekCraig @CoffeegeekCraig @behmor Hey Joe, that's great! When will they ship/arrive @ Canadian http://idrinkcoffee.com distributor? Thanks & Cheers! Craig. {;-)
