The krups is a complete waste of time and money.
The Bodum may be decent enough, but I would look at a Baratza Factory Refurb CLICK THIS

Edit - and since this post is not about espresso I moved it to the Coffee Forum

I'm a coffee drinker that is deep into upgrading all the gear.  I'm struggling with a new grinder, but seem to be focusing on a Baratza, the refubished option looks appealing.  Given the Maestro, Maestro Plus or Virtuoso as possible choices, what are the major differences in ease of cleaning, noise, speed of grinding.  Basically I'm curious as to exactly what the increase in price gets you.

For the record, I don't do that much espresso, primarily vacuum brewing.

Thanks,

Bill

Bumping this to the top because I'm trying to decide on a burr grinder after only having experience with the Macap M4 that was recently sold. It looks like the majority of posts I read are from the owners of the Maestro, and everybody seems pretty happy with it. I'm interested in finding out if any French Press brewers went with the Virtuoso over the Maestro based solely on grind consistency.  Baratza is telling me that the Virtuoso will produce less fine grind when set at a larger grind setting. Are Maestro owners very happy with the grind they're getting for French Press?

Thanks,
Walt

Try a hand grinder that will grind fine enough for espresso.

I just decided to go with the Virtuoso. For the $43 more, I don't have to wonder if the grind is different or not...
