Okay, I have a Silvia and two Rockys at home but I want a perculator recommendation for the office. It is *so much easier* to pick a domestic espresso machine but perculators are a nightmare!

Why would you want a percolator? Seriously. Why?
As for drip, the two obvious recommendations are a Technivorm on the pricey side, and a Chemex (or Melita-type filter cone manual) on the inexpensive side . . .

Zin1953 - great. It's a force of habit thing to conflate perculator and drip. I meant the latter. That'll do it - I'll check out the Technivorm and Chemex sites.
Oh, CRAP! I missed the "office" part, Stephen, in your original post. I'm sorry. Yes, absolutely: ignore my ideas and go with Wayne's suggestions, depending upon volume of coffee needed.
Hi Technivorm are generally accepted to be among the best filter machines around. We had one in an office I used to work in, and it produced coffee about as good as you could expect in an office environment.....if used by people who had at least some slight idea of what they were doing.
They manufacture a range of machines from small domestic to large bulk brewers, and I'd be fairly sure they have something that would fit your requirements
I'm fairly sure technivorm will sell to you direct in the eu (they are based in the Netherlands) but also, this company, among others, sells them in the UK Click Here (www.morethancoffee.co.uk)
I don't have any business connection with them, but have been a customer.
Should also add that there are many other commercial and semi commercial coffee machines around, such as Bravilor, Coffee queen etc. which are probably as good. It's just that I've never used any of them, but I have used Technivorms.
I, myself, STILL prefer the electric percolator for brewing coffee. It makes drip coffee taste very diluted/watered down. I think percolated coffee is richer, not to mention HOTTER. I have a Farberware percolator, and wouldnt go back to drip coffee.
