The White House has traditionally been "outfitted" in a manner intended to impress visiting dignitaries. It's been done since the beginning and it's always been done with tax dollars. Don't expect any change there. The real question should involve the number of presidential Clovers, I'm guessing there's one at the White House, one at Camp David and possibly one on Air Force One.
As much as it seems to be a lot to ask of us taxpayers, just look at it this way.  It's cheaper to buy a Clover than it is to pay for an investigation of weather there was any special treatment provided to the person or corporation that donated a Clover for use at the White House.

Being serious about this half joke takes all the fun out of it.

Hello!

There is ALREADY ONE   in the (bush) Sec of the Interior's office.

Part of the 265K remodel -- along with mongrammed  towels to wipe up!

that is not a joke.  the money is already gone.

Just thinkin' that it's better to spend $20k on the machine than $20m on checking out the source of the free machine.

Kind of like spending 5 cents for a cigar, rather than $80m to find out where he got it and where it was put.

You know, as an analogy.

LOL

The Clover's a neat machine, but I still think the coffee from my $20 Bodum press can't be far off.  I did also just see a video on Yahoo about the White House's new set of China that cost $485,000.  LOL...
