Posted Sat May 17, 2008, 5:24pm Subject: A Minor Humiliation
I use a Capresso Infinity--excellent. However, there was a thread in 2006 describing a problem, apparently shared by several, with putting the top burr in upsidedown, causing it to lock into place. I remember thinking "what a stupid thing to do" Well,I think you can guess what happened last week. The great mind, half asleep, did the same thing--how humiliating, and possibly a $100 expense to replace the grinder. Well again,I spent an hour reviewing threads on this forum and finally found MichaelRewaks' superb post, complete with a photo, showing how to solve the problem. I tried it,and bingo--out popped the top burr. I now have my friend back. If Michael is still watching the forum, many thanks. Barry
