I was wondering if anybody could suggest a large volume coffee maker for our small office. Right now we're going through 10 cups way too quickly, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I've always enjoyed percolated coffee, especially when made right. I don't think there are any or many reviews of large capacity percolators here on CG, but West Bend has a couple well rated large capacity percs on Amazon. There's a 12-30 cup model and a 12-42 cup model available with good feedback. They also have a 55-cup model with no feedback and a large 100-cup commercial model with high feedback as well, and it's cheaper than the 55-cup model.
For any office environment it's hard to beat the Bunn machines. They offer various sizes and are built to last a lifetime. They all brew 12 cup pots in about 3 minutes. We had one in the office when I was in the U.S. Air Force. I liked it so much that I purchased one for home use. That was 20 years ago and it's still working today. The best prices are normally found at the member clubs such as Costco, Sam's Club etc. Here's a link to the Bunn VPR Pourover machine at Costco. I believe they have a Costco in Toronto. Hope this helps.
Hi Michael (TJWrangler), Costco.ca doesn't carry BUNN at all, so I'd recommend the best & cheapest in Canada for BUNN commercial or home brewers., the Greenbeanery.
Michael, I should of posted the locations of Costco's in Toronto & there are 3 in Toronto & several in the immediate area. Here's the site list for all of Canada. I guess it's always good to know where they all are (relevent to where we live) for other purchases. {;-)
I'm sure James will find a suitable machine at the Greenbeanery.
Hi CraigA. I 'm originally from Buffalo, N.Y. and Toronto was always a joy to visit. I really miss it. In fact, I bought two cars in St Catherine's Ontario back in the 80s' when the American dollar was worth more. Saved a lot of money at that time. Now that the American dollar is declining every day, it's no longer a deal. Just a thought - Could James order his coffee maker online from an American company and have it delivered to Canada? As an example, the Bunn A10 model can be had online U.S. for as low as $209.00. The Greenbeanery's price is $467.89. This may not even be possible. I'm not sure what is allowed to be shipped to Canada, but it may be worth looking into.

Yes, it's possible., & there's been lots of posts/talk over the months & years here about not using Fedex, UPS because of the exorbiant brokerage fees that are charged., along with duties, Provincial sales tax (8%), GST (Goods & Services tax) (5%) etc., etc..
