I own & use the one pictured below once in a blue moon (in addition to others), pretty much identical to the one that you list from Egypt. I bought mine from Natasha's Cafe.
Uhhh, that's 6 ounces.. I usually start & heat cold water in the Ibrik & it takes 3 or 4 minutes to get the water to just below a roll when I add my coffee. I do 3 risings that take approx oh, 20 - 30 seconds.
If I start with hot water from a kettle off of the boil, all it takes is the time for the 3 risings.

Well, just like with my vac pots., I believe a proper extraction happens at the right brew temps 195 - 205°F. I suppose the coffee wouldn't mix much with the cold water, & at the top of the Ibriks neck by the time it takes the brewer to come up to temp. Everyones MMV though.
