Boy,Craig--that's an interesting one. It must be hell to clean with that narrow top.How do you like the Silex rod?

I have Silex Lox - in rods, but haven't actually used one in a Silex pot yet! Below is a Cafex CFG-8-B I have too, never brewed in either., yet. {;-) I only washed them out with a mild dish detergent & a terry dish cloth & a bottle brush. BTW...for a stove top noob like me (both my vacs are auto-electric Bodums since the passing of my beloved Infuze..sob) what model Cory/Silex/etc should I look out for?...sturdier...I realize that's relative with glass...easier to clean, etc... TIA Oh yeah...and more volume than a Yama or Bodum...at least 25-32 oz....
