Hi Joe,

For a few years now .txt, .zip, .pdf, .doc attachments have been disabled, & only .jpg, .gif are allowed.
This was done due to a/the Coffeegeek website overhaul & redesign promised a number of years ago, but it never/hasn't happened as of yet..

All you can do is put a link to the pdf document on the Coffeegeek forums for now.

I see this now. It won't let me delete the file in edit. can you do it for me?

Reading about the "Plus" makes me think again about upgrading my roaster.

I use a FreshRoast SR500.  It produces enough smoke to set off the smoke detector about 50% of the time.   I'm in an apartment in Québec where our winters are "Keep-the-windows-SHUT!!!-cold" for many months on end.

If I upgrade to the Behmor 1600 Plus from my FreshRoast will I have more of a smoke alarm problem or less of a smoke alarm problem?

Craig, this is going OT but …

… for the last 2 years no image posted here will enlarge when I click it.  Is that to do with my MAC computer or the site upgrade?

I click on the image and it blinks but does not enlarge.

Just right-click it and open in a new tab.  A Mac can do that, can't it?
My only Apple history is a one-year old iPad 4, a cute little screened thing I'll be using in my classrooms next year.

Oh, I just updated the info form with the correct one:

That depends how far you carry out the roasts.  There will be smoke and assorted vapors filling the air around the roaster.  The afterburner in the 1600 gets some of it, but not all.  Here in Seattle I always roast outside.

Just getting in the door but let me get the most current data from Asia and I'll post either late tonight or early tomorrow about specifics on when boards arrive and when the production runs can begin etc..

Thanks for your patience

Joe

Any update:

A)  When boards will start to be shipped out

B)  32 rpm motor life testing / likeliness & when will it be added to Plus design

C) When will plus units be shipped

Currently I use twin 1200w poppers but am def getting a Plus as soon as available.  Will the msrp be more or less than $50 vs current 1600 units?

Sorry I'm not familiar with Mac Jerry, & forgive me for asking the obvious., but do you have a popup blocker turned on under "Tools" or where ever the setting is on your browser?
