I find that it really depends on the type of beans you are roasting -nothing substitutes close supervision during the roast.  Also, I was not able to apply single P setting to all beans.

Depends on the coffee being roasted but the Behmor does tend to push the bean through first crack very quickly on P1 because it just keeps it full blast.  The problem with the profiles is that they are standard pre set.  Not super helpful as beans will roast differently, so a pre set profile is kind of arbitrary.  Since it's so pre set, it seems like the only way to have any control is to hack the system at times.  Not suggested, but probably the best way to add control.
