My popcorn popper is more powerful than that thing. I somehow doubt it'll be able to roast 500g inside 30 minutes, even if power vs weight vs roasting time scaled linearly (which it does not) my math sees a roasting time in excess of 45 minutes.
If you want to send me one too, I'll spam forum posts telling everyone my experience with it! (I doubt it'll be favorable though)

By reclaiming about 40% of the roast chamber's hot air, I can easily complete 500g roasts, in 11-12 minutes with my 1500 watt heating element at: Drying = 1050 watts Ramp-to-first-crack = 1350 watts Finish = 1200 watts.
Therefore, I must concur, the subject roaster is way under-powered.
