I've ordered many times from SMs and twice from Roastmasters and figure it's time to branch out.
I liked the beans from roastmaster but they seem a bit expensive compared with most others and SMs been great, but I want to explore beyond this.
I want a vendor that's totally reliable and sells only quality beans. I'd rather spend a little more than risk mediocrity.
Also, I need variety including espressos and decafs and different regions.

I belong to the coffee coop, but that doesn't work for me as I usually want 2-3 lbs (or 5 max) of a given coffee.
I'm leaning toward Coffee Bean Corral or Burman. I particularly like that I can order 3 lbs easily from CBC as the gives me 48 oz from which to do four 12 oz Behmor roasts.

Any suggestions on who to get beans from?
Any other top contenders?
Should I expect these to be as good quality as roastmasters and SM?

I'll revive an old dead thread that I've used along the way - hopefully some of the other folks will update it.  Several of the vendors in it are still in business.

Yes, I've been thinking about ordering from Burman for a while now.
I ended up going with Coffee Bean Corral. Next time it might be Burman.

Am I the only one who likes to by 3 lbs at a time (to get 4 X 12 oz roasts in the Behmor?

I to buy all of my coffee from Bodhi, there selection is outstanding and prices are great, the quality is very very good. I have been buying from them exclusively for several years now, never had a bad experiance. Shipping is fast and well packaged. Steve Simms owner loves to talk coffee and very helpful, outstanding customer service, they also sell on ebay. This is a coffee supplier you can trust. I have no interest in Bodhileaftrading other then a loyal customer. Hope this helped in finding a great green coffee bean source. BR Rich

I hope this is not hijacking your post, but I am looking for green bean vendors in Europe. All the online stores that I have found are based in the States, and shipping to Norway is very expensive! I am looking for quality beans that don't cost $ 60+ to ship for only a couple of pounds (SM)...
