Funny-I love the coffee, just went to buy 10lbs more but its gone...
BUT-I have looked around once or twice to see where the dog left the mess while a cup of this was sitting on my desk, its the oddest thing. The coffee tastes pretty much exactly as described, dark fruits, honey, etc but at times, not always, I get a very strong "dogs**t" aroma from it. Thought it was me until I just read the linked thread.
I don't think the coffee is bad, just earthy/funky. Seems best at a c++
Roasted this coffee last weekend. It had a very earthy flavor. For some reason or another, the chaff also did not leave the bean very easily (probably my fault).

The outcome in the cup seems to be extremely variable. Initially there was a huge component of blueberries that was more abundant than any other Ethiopians that I have previously bought, then that seemed to disappear when going through a 20 lb bag, but occasionally popping up as much less blueberry. There is probably a reason why Tom did not list blueberries as one of its flavor components because one can't be assured of getting it from roast to roast whether it be C+ through FC. I am using a Behmor 1600.

Roaster: 1kg Toper Cafemino - Gas

I was roasting exclusively on an iRoast II for approx 5 years then purchased a 1kg Toper Cafemino using LP in May, 2012. I have noticed that the Cafemino can produce a consistent roast and cup that excels compared to the iRoast. Worka is consistently fantastic out of the Cafemino.

I roasted some a while back and remembered a slight over ripe strawberry flavor at a c+ fc produced some dark chocolate overtones and some blueberry. what I done was mixed the 2 and it made for a interesting shot of espresso after 7 days rest. I ordered this varital a few times but grew tired of the flavor profile.
